Birds 

Blackbird

Turdus merula

A daily sight in the garden, coming to the feeding station frequently during the day. In autumn commonly seen in large numbers eating fallen apples or berries on the rowan and holly. Also forages across the short grass meadow for insects and grubs. Nests in the dense hedge down the side of the garden; parents with juveniles seen each year.
