Pyrrhula pyrrhula

Until recently, bullfinches were an occasional visitor to the garden, appearing in spring and early summer to feed on the fruit-tree blossom. But since 2022 they have started coming regularly to the bird feeders. Usually a pair (male/female) travel together. White rump of the flying bird is highly distinctive.
