Butterflies and moths: Depressuliids
Night-flying moth ca. 10 mm in length; body elongate-ovate; flattened at rest with one forewing strongly overlapping the other; wings pale khaki; with a pair of small black marks towards the front and a pair of silver dashes mid-length; rear of wings without strong ribs. Identity likely but not certain without microscopic investigation.
Attracted to porch lamp 23 March, 2023; 2 specimens. In moth trap 18th February and porch 24th February, 2024; attracted to lit window 11th March, 2024 (2).
