Butterflies and moths: Noctuidae
Night-flying noctuid moth. Dark brown shoulder hair and light brown wings with a diagnostic double dark-brown square marking on each wing.
Captured 18th June, 20223 in light trap - two individuals. Captured 8th July, 2022 in light trap,- 12 individuals. Caught in light trap 17th June, 2023, 1 individual, and 24th June, 2023: 4 individuals. Caught in light trap 7th July, 1 individual, and 27th July, 2023: 8 individuals. In light trap 24th June, (1), 5th July (2), 15th July (2), 29th July (2 very worn), 2024. Caught in moth light trap 12th June (4), 20th (5) and 29th (5) June; 9th July (11), 17th July (3) 2025.
