Butterflies and moths: Noctuidae
Night-flying pale coloured noctuid moth. Broad light brown band defined by dark brown lines across wings, the anterior of which forms a 'V'; small black spot on each wing inside band and row of small black crescents along posterior of wing. Food plant: broad leaved trees and shrubs.
Captured 8th July, 2022 in light trap - one individual. In light trap 27th July, 2023: 1 individual. Caught in light trap 15th July (1) and 20th July (3), 2024. Caught in light trap 9th July (2) and 17th July (5), 25th July (1), and 2nd August (1), 2025.
