Butterflies and moths: Crambidae
Night-flying moth with thorned legs; triangular, roofed wings at rest. Wings a pale straw colour with two thin red transverse lines, a double dark wing spot and a small dark shoulder spot.
Caught in light trap, 18th and 24th June, 2022: one specimen each time. Caught in light trap 7th July, 2023. Caught in light trap 24th June, 2024 (1). Flying in wildflower meadow early July and in light trap 5th (1), 15th (4) and 20th (5) July, 2024.
