Butterflies and moths: Noctuidae
Night-flying moth with black wedge-shaped mark and black kidney mark. Wings light brown with a couple of transverse lines. Strong black 'eyebrow' just behind head.
Captured in light trap 18th June, and 8th July, 2022; multiple specimens. In light trap 14th and 20th May, 2023, one specimen each. In light trap 5th, 11th and 17th June, 2023; many individuals. Caught in light trap 17th May (1), and 25th May (3), 9th June (4), 19th June (2), 24th June (2) 15th July (2) 2024. Caught in light trap 13th May (1), 23rd May (2), 12th June (4), 20th (1 very worn), 29th (1 worn) June, 2025.
