Night-flying moth 22 mm in length. Distinctive black marking on wing.
Captured 22nd March, 2022, 9 specimens: 13th April, 1 specimen (dark form): 30th April, 1 specimen: 20th March, 2023, 1 specimen: 28th March, 2023, 4 specimens. Caught in light trap, 5th March, 2024 (3 specimens): 19th March, 2024 (9 specimens); 29th March, 2024 (3).
