Butterflies and moths: geometrids
Night-flying moth resting with wings open. Wing patterning of poorly defined transverse lines; rear wing not scalloped at edge. Food plants: hawthorn and ivy.
Attracted to lit window at night 5th August, 2022. Seen in greenhouse at dusk 4th July, 2023. Two in light trap 27th July, and 2 in 9th August, 2023. In porch and moth trap 13th and 15th July, 2024 (1 each). Caught in light trap 9th (1), and 17th (8), 25th (1) July, and 12th August (2), 2025.
