Butterflies and moths: Geometridae
Night-flying moth with pale pinkish white wings with speckling and three fine transverse brown lines, the anterior one incomplete and the posterior with a strong kink towards the leading edge. Dominant form of this species found in Kelso - the banded form being much more scarce.
Captured in light trap 18th June, and 8th July, 2022: one individual each time. Found near light in porch at night, 29th July, 2022. Caught in light trap June 17th, 2023, 1 individual. Caught in light trap 27th July (11) and 9th August (1), 2023. In light trap 24th June, 2024. Attracted to porch light 10th July, 2024. In light trap 15th July (7), 20th July (2), and 29th July (4), 2024.
