Butterflies and moths: Erebidae
Very hairy black and orange caterpillar; hairs in clusters along body. Earlier stages less hairy and with yellowisj dorsal line and black white and orange spots laterally. For adult see here.
Seen crossing grass 15th October, 2024. Found amongst wild flower border cuttings 12th September, 2025 (younger form).
