Butterflies and moths: Crambidae
Small moth with wings deltoid and flat when resting, short antennae, and projecting snout. Distinct white crescent mark midway along the inner edge of each front wing, and three white spots towards the rear of the leading edge. Posterior edge with dashed black line. Legs white. Food plant blackthorn and other shrubs and plants.
Resting during the day in the greenhouse on 7th and 14th July, 2022. Caught in light trap 2nd August, 2022. Seen in greenhouse 11th July, 2023.
