Fungi
Cap to 30 mm diameter, flat to slightly depressed centrally and concave, with rounded, inturned edge. Surface ivory-white and rather waxy; a drab khaki at centre; drying pale cream and cracking concentrically when old. Gills white, rather dense; adnate; in at least four size-cycles. Stem moderately thick, 35 x 5 mm diameter; off-white with a fine felt texture near top and white fine fibres at base; hollow; becoming a pinkish-brown like the cap.
Spore print pure white. Basidia dense and 4-spored. Cystidia very sparse on sides of gill; narrow, cylindrical, some with small rounded tip. Spores inamyloid; colourless; small 4.0-5.0 x 2.8-3.5 um (mean 4.5 x 3.1 um, n = 31). Ellipsoidal to ovate, with fine granulation on surface.
