Cup 4 cm; flat with distinct umbo and slightly upturned rim when mature; purplish brown in colour; hygrophanous and waxy. Gills white, dense and slightly decurrent. Stem pale near cap then becoming darker like cap below and finely granular with whiter flecks. Identity uncertain.
Waxcap meadow; rare.
