Appearance

Small olive green-yellow mushroom; cap 15 mm in diameter; conical with pointed dark apex and yellow-olive radially banded margin. Gills adnate to weakly emarginate, cream coloured, rather coarse. Stem brownish-olive to 60 mm in length and slender (2 mm); rather stiff; no ring, no basal hyphae. Spore print rosy. Spores amyloid; angular and with strong pointed apiculus; 9.8-12.0 x 6.5-8.7 um (mean = 10.4 x 7.2 um, N = 14). Qav = 1.45. Rare clavate cheilocystidia but mostly absent.
