Fungi

Cap very large (8-10 cm in diameter), conical, coming to a pointed central umbo; opening out and splitting with age; cap waxy, green-yellow with blackish overtones. Gills almost free, yellowish in colour with black patches. Stalk fibrous, with fine twisted, longitudinal grooves; greenish yellow in colour; blackening from cap; distinctly tapered upwards (7 mm diameter at top, 17 at base); 10 cm in length. Cap and stalk waxy but not greasy.
A single individual clearly different from typical conica in being twice as large and not completely blackening over time.
