Tiny pale, stemmed inoperculate cup fungus up to 2.5 mm in diameter and standing ca. 2-3 mm above the substrate on a thin stalk. Cup inner surface cream, yellow or peach, without rim, but white on lower/outer surface. Ascii (a-d) with 1- or 2-celled spores arranged spirally; no crozier. Outer surface (section e) composed of clavate cells. Spores 18-22 x 3-4 um (mean = 20 x 3.7 um, N= 6); elongate and pointed at one end, rounded at the other; 1-2 celled; full of oil droplets.
Growing directly on small dried stem of dead poppy in vegetable garden debris.
