Appearance

Cap 4-6 cm in diameter, wide and low-domed becoming slightly concave in mature specimen; thin-edged; surface dry; hygrophanous - mottled brown towards centre and paler towards margin with a distinct lilac tinge becoming dirty cream when dry. Gills adnexe, lilac-tinged when fresh, turning brown with age, fine and dense. Stalk relatively stout, fibrous with a distinct lilac tinge; no ring; expanded at base. Spore print a light brown.  

Habitat

Under Yew tree at bottom of garden and beside grass cutting pile under holly trees at side of garden.
