Fungi
Cap very large - 15 cm diameter - irregularly concave and covered in debris (from pushing up through leaf litter) with an inrolled edge; uniformly mid-grey in colour with some peeled patches where the white flesh beneath show through. Gills dense, slightly decussant, a little fragile; white turning brown with age. Stipe short and stout with a powdery surface; white with reddish tinge; no ring.
At bottom of garden under holly trees and close to the Leylandi hedge.
