Fungi
Potato-shaped puffball with brown reticulated surface and a stubby well-defined basal white stalk. Wall rather thin, ca. 1.1 mm thick. Spores almost sphaerical with long (1-2 um long) spines and without ornament of connected reticulate ridges; 9-13 um in diameter.
In gravel at edge of drive, within proximity of pendulous oak (Quercus robur) and holly trees.
