Fungi
Small bracket fungus projecting up to ca. 1 cm, encrusting small fallen branches or forming tiers on rotting wood. Upper surface with red/brown/cream-coloured concentric banding, with pale rim; surface rather lumpy and covered in fine hairs. Lower similar in colour to upper surface or slighlty paler, banded, with a smooth silky appearance and no pores.
Forming tiers on sides of rotting logs under oak tree. Resupine on fallen twig of Silver birch.
