Appearance

Cap conical and very slimy; colour turqoise; edge with white remnants of veil; 26-40 mm diameter. Gills dense, sinuate, adnexed, grey-brown-coloured; gill edges not white. Stem dry, with a distinct turquoise tinge; no distinct ring present; the lower part of the stem covered in white flecks. Lacks peppery smell. Differs from S. pseudocyanea in lacking evident stem ring, and in having remnants of veil around cap edge.

Habitat

In grass near the hazel tree at the bottom of the garden in 2015.
