Small black and yellow banded wasp - abdomen with distinctive banding pattern; yellow band on first dorsal plate projecting anteriorly on each side. Yellow bars on thorax very small cf. A. gazella. Legs with black femur, yellow tibia and tarsi. Single yellow spot on black face; mandibles yellow. Underside of antennae yellow. Wings smoked.
