Diptera: syrphids
Syrphid with black wing stigma and brown colouring around, abdomen with large orange triangles on the first tergum and very thin orange lines to the edge of posterior terga. Abdomen strongly tapered. Legs pale distally. Seen in July visiting ragweed flowers.
