Plants and animals of Pointfield

Medium-sized (8 mm) ichnuemon. Antennae black to dark brown. Head black but with white ring around the eyes. Thorax and abdomen chesnut brown; scutellum with tiny white spots, a pair of faint longitudinal latero-dorsal white stripes and white stripe running laterally towards the head from the wing base; ovipositor short and straight. Legs reddish-brown. Wing with small pale brown stigmata, a well-defined areolet, and with sm2-cu unbroken. Found on inside of bathroom window in early November.
