Diptera: fungus gnats
Small (5 mm body length) gnat with antennae simple and over twice as long as body. Pale orange abdomen with two red longitudinal bars. Thorax white with transverse black bands becoming more prominent toward rear. Wings broad and transparent. Legs pale. Species ID tentative. Found resting in greenhouse 1st September, 2024.
