Diptera: Mycetophilidae
Gnat ca. 6-8 mm long, with prominent spikes along tibia with a pair of large spikes at their distal end, and with two bold dark patches on wings. Caught in light trap 28/1/23. Caughty in moth light trap 28th October, 2025 (1). Species identification requires microscopic dissection.
