Notes

Large ichnuemon almost 2 cm in length, with chestnut-red body, legs and antennae. Ocelli black and abutting. Thorax plain, abdomen with darker patch towards rear. Ovipositor short and straight. Wing veination with orange stigmata, elongate discosubmarginal cell with small, incompletely closed areolet; upper part of 2m-cu with 2 bullae and with very short 1m-cu. Caught in moth trap on 22nd August, 2024: identified to species level by NHM scientist as part of 2024 noctural ichneumon project.
