Plants and animals of Pointfield

Small pale orange ichnuemon with large black eyes and three discrete black ocelli separated by yellow surrounds. Antennae orange, darkening slightly to tip. Thorax with two thin longitudinal yellow bars. Wing with yellow-orange stigmata; elongate discosubmarginal cell, small incompletely close triangular areolet, no 1m-cu developed, and 2 bullae on 2m-cu. Short straight ovipositer. Attracted to light trap 18th June, 2022 (upper); 16th August, 2023 (mid); 23rd August, 2024 (lower - identified by NHM scientists as part of nocturnal ichneumon project 2024).
