Large ichnuemon almost 2 cm in length, with chestnut-red body, legs and antennae. Wing veination; with orange stigmata, elongate discosubmarginal cell; no areolet; upper part of 2m-cu incomplete and with moderately well developed 1m-cu meeting 1Rs-m. Caught in moth trap on 19th August, 2023 and 30th April, 2022. Significantly larger than Ophion crassicornis
