Hymenoptera: Ichneumens
Small (12-15 mm body-length) black-bodied ichneumen with black antennae. Antennae ca. half body length. Front of face cream-coloured as is underside of abdomen. First two bands of abdomen with narrow cream band. Wings clear with strong black stigmata. Anterior and middle pairs of legs yellow/cream; posterior legs with upper part of femur black and distal black band on each of the tarsal and tibia segments. Seen visiting elderflower flowers in June.
