Trichoptera: Caddis flies

Large cinnamon sedge

Notes

Large (ca. 2 cm), dun brown caddis fly with hour-glass white patch on wing and two small white spots at base of end cells. Small white marks dorsally on wing shoulder. Species identification requires genital examination. Caught in light trap 18th August, 2023; attracted to porch light 8th September, 2023. In moth trap 31st August, 2024.
