Diptera: stratiomyidae
Dipteran; length ca. 10 mm. Head with large eyes and two white spots on the fons immediately above the antennae. Thorax metallic green; scutellum smooth and spineless. Abdomen narrow and tapered distally; first two segments red and more posterior segments metallic blue (female). Legs orange with black tips. On hedge opposite compost heap.
