Notes

Small (4 mm) fly with strongly patterned wings that are waved slowly to signal to other flies. Thorax light grey; abdomen darker. A pair seen signalling to one another on an ox-eye daisy leaf; 7th May, 2024. Not uncommon through to mid June.
