Molluscs: land snails
Small (6-10 mm) snail with flattened evolute shell (4-5 whorls). Shell orange-brown with a very shiny, glassy sheen. Umbilicus narrow hiding inner whorls. Distinguished from Oxychilus (cellar glass snail) by having a slight rise of the whorls towards the centre.
Found under logs around the garden. Common.
