Arion (Kobeltia) owenii


Appearance

Pale yellow-brown slug; tentacles dark; mantle less than one-third of body length and with median and lateral dark bands; breathing pore anterior of centre in mantle. Tubercles coarse; wide lateral black band, paler above and below; banded fringe present only at very rear; mucous pore visible at rear, mucous white/colourless, sole with yellow tinge. Identified by Chris du Feu. 

Habitat and sightings

Found in wildflower meadow.
