Molluscs: land snails 

Slippery moss snail

Colchicopa cf. lubrica


Appearance

Small (5 mm) tall-spired snail with 5 and a half whorls; no umbilicus and thickened lip lacking teeth. Whorl sutures incised.  

Habitat and sightings

Found in rotting pile of few flowered leek leaves (dead shell). Also amongst gravel in front of house.
