Small dark brown to black slug; mantle less than one-third of body length; body with prominent orange keel running along its entire length; body colour rather uniform. Sole pale with prominent dark longitudinal stripe down the middle (absent in T. sowerbyi).
Found under stones and logs around the garden. Moderately common.
