Appearance

Shell 12 mm in diameter with low spire; 6 whorls; colour a pale brown (dead shell); marked with obvious growth striae. Rounded ambitus. Aperture wider than tall. Umbilicus rather wide, but not showing inner whorls and partially covered by final whorl lip.

Habitat and sightings

Found in wild-flower border under the oak tree and by greenhouse in February/March and October.
