Molluscs: land snails
Shell 12 mm in diameter with low spire; 6 whorls; colour a pale brown (dead shell); marked with obvious growth striae. Rounded ambitus. Aperture wider than tall. Umbilicus rather wide, but not showing inner whorls.
Found in wild-flower border under the oak tree and by greenhouse in February/March.
