Ferns
Small fern growing from vertical wall. Pinnae only 3-5 five on each side, yet lowest is itself pinnate, with 3 segments. Overall shape of each pinna is fan-shaped to trapezoidal, with pinnae quickly decreasing in complexity as you move towards the top. Shape of segments very variable but each is finely toothed aroubnd the outer edge.
Common growing on retaining wall in front of basement.
