Ferns
Rootstock stout, giving rise to many long leaves whose rachus has only fine scales. Pinnae long, those at base only slightly shorter than those half way up. Pinnae long with pinnules very even in size, largely fused together and flat-ended distally; no or only rudimentary spine at tip of each. Spores widely spaced on pinnules, 5 per pinule, circular. Remains green all year.
