Plants and animals of Pointfield

Erect foliose lichen with flattened, branched thalli that are pale bluish-grey in colour on one side and a paler almost white colour on the back. No soredia at tips; surface of wider thalli slightly pitted. Distinguished from Ramalina farinacea in having surfaces of thalli marked by a series of ridges.

Attached to thinner branches of apple trees and the Cut-leaf beech.
