Spiders
Small spider with black thorax and characteristically patterned globular abdomen; legs pale. Chelicera large and black. Larger size and Autumn appearance suggests P. clercki rather than P. degeeri but microscopic examination of genitalia is required to confidently separate these two species.
Found in wildflower border in early September.
