Spiders 

Crab spider

Xysticus ?cristatus

 

Notes

Small, spider with characteristic leg posture and body markings. Differs from Xysticus ulmi in having a sharp and dark point at the end of the triangle on the carapace which extends almost to the abdomen. Legs coarsely speckled. Male much darker than female. However, firm identification to species requires microscopic examination.

Habitat

Found in meadow rockery amongst plants and in fruit cage.
