Small Xysticus spider with characteristic leg posture and body markings. Differs from Xysticus cristatus in having only a narrow dark fovea lacking a sharp and dark point at its end on the carapace. However, species identification tentative and requires microscopic examination.

Single individual found on redcurrant bush.
