Appearance

Tall, upright plant with long, leafless flower stalk arising from basal rosette of lobate edged leaves that are hairy. Flowers single, yellow; narrow pointed bracts forming lower part of open flower; bracts dull green and bristly on the midrib.

Habitat

Abundant in wild flower lawn.
