Appearance

Low clump-forming annual with elongate ovate leaves with plain margin and prominent midrib; leaves hairy. Flowers a pale blue and flat, with central yellow rim surrounding centre; 7-8 mm in diameter. Carpels very hairy, hairs mostly straight but hooked hairs common in lower part.

Habitat

Common in gravel along border to drive and in adjacent wall border. Also occasional specimens in semi-cultivated areas elsewhere.
