Fungi
Clumps of small somewhat rubbery, initially white-, later beige-coloured slender cylindrical brnaches that at their tip give rise to 4-6 small beige-tipped thorny projections. Colonies 6 cm in height; branch diameter ca. 2-3 mm. Older specimens loose their white colour and yellow. Spore print white; spores almost circular and smooth, without inclusions; 5.3-6.6x 5.3-6.3 um, mean = 5.9 x 5.7 um, N = 9; Q - 1.0-1.1, Qav = 1. Basidia either two or four pronged. Differs from Ramariopsis robusta in larger smooth, hyaline spores and more slender branches.
Growing amongst moderately long grass (and hence not seen until cutting grass) in waxcap meadow (2023).
