Notes

Mayfly with large hind wings, eyes rather large and close together. Wings transparent with no black thickening of cross-veins and no mottling. Abdomen pale yellow without markings on underside and with red-brown diagonal bands laterally. Anterior legs long. Caught in light trap, 6th September, 2023.

Differentiated from the very similar E. venosus by its more transparent wings with more delicate veination. In E. venosus the wings are distinctly smokey and all veins are much stronger and blacker.
