Ephemeroida
Mayfly with large hind wings, eyes rather large and close together. Wings smoky-coloured with strong black cross-veins and no mottling. Abdomen pale yellow without markings on underside and with red-brown diagonal bands laterally. Caught in light trap, 9th August, and 6th September, 2023.
Differentiated from the very similar E. dispar by its more tinted wings with stronger, blacker veination.
